How to play

Hit the arrows, feed the combo

  • Hit the arrows. Arrows rise up four lanes: left, down, up, right. Press the matching key the moment one lands on its target at the top: the arrow keys, or A S W D. On a phone or tablet, tap the four big pads at the bottom. Two arrows at once? Hit both.
  • Timing counts. Dead on is Marvelous, then Perfect, Great, and Good the further off you are. Miss an arrow and your combo breaks. Great and Good tell you if you were early or late. Pressing with no arrow there costs nothing.
  • Hold the long ones. On Hard and Skwished, some arrows have a tail. Press on the head and keep holding until the tail runs out for an OK. Let go too soon and it is NG.
  • Watch your life bar. Good hits fill it, misses drain it. On Hard and Skwished, the stage fails if it empties. On Easy, 15 misses in a row fail the stage, and on Normal, 10.
  • Chain a combo. At 25 the lanes pulse, at 50 Skwish dances harder, at 100 the edges light up, and at 200 the combo goes rainbow. The drop turns it all up.
  • Get a grade. Scores go up to 1,000,000. S, A, B, C, or D, plus a full combo badge if you never miss. Each difficulty keeps its own best score on this device. Retry any time with the Retry button or R.
  • Make it fair. Speed sets how fast the arrows scroll (it does not change the song). If hits feel late or early, press Calibrate and tap along with the clicks, or nudge the offset 5 ms at a time.
